UPS Drivers…

Before anything else, this is not a knock on UPS drivers. This is a statement regarding the under-appreciation for mental health providers.

A recent union deal at UPS says drivers will be making $170K in pay and benefits!

Though I’m very happy for the drivers at UPS, and I imagine it’s very hard work delivering packages all day, this is a reminder of the need for more funding in the social services. We keep losing excellent clinicians/teachers/social workers/etc. to other jobs due to terrible pay and worse benefits. Let’s all continue to do our part to advocate for the helping professions.
